Time ...Flies!

I've been MIA for almost 4 years, and I can't believe it's been that long!
I've been having a great time teaching, seeing clients, making videos and - in the past 2 years, finding a new place to live in Boston and moving.
But - I'm back! I'm very lucky to love my work. The other day a friend asked me "where do you find your joy?" and I honestly had to say, "Much of the time, in everything I do!" Does that mean I don't have off days where I can't get anything done, and find myself irritated by just about everyone and anything? Of course I do. I remember talking to a young man who was troubled that he was having a challenging week. I explained that indeed life is like a roller coaster, or a see-saw, and our challenge is to remain grounded while ups and downs happen. Enjoy the ups, breathe through the downs, and remember: What goes up must come down, It's the nature of things. Think of life as a the double DNA helix. In good times the energy goes spiraliing up and in difficult times it spirals down. It's not a mistake, When the spiral is heading down, try to remember that you're likely due to learn something about yourself and or life. The lessons are often hard, sometimes painful, but if you hold these times as challenges and opportunities, you will be quicker to learn, and quicker to head back up. Trust me. Just try it.
And, I promise to re-commit to writing here in my blog.
